Our first stop is in the heart of the famous French Quarter, at Jackson Square. This expansive park is actually a national landmark

Dating back to 1815 and beyond, this square was once a military plaza in honor of Andrew Jackson. A statue was constructed in his honor which stands at the site, as well as numerous other pieces of architecture that are from the same time period.

The Square has a wide variety of scenic vistas and architectural pieces that make a perfect backdrop for elopement photography or even just great tourist shots! People come from all over the world to visit this historic park, and for good reason. It truly is a remarkable spot.

Royal Street is an historic location that is lined with picturesque shops, art galleries, and amazing restaurants that are known the world over.

Artistry and charm pour from every building. This was one of the original streets of the city, dating back to the beginning of the 1800s, and throughout the years, it has become representative of the unique mix of culture and sophistication that the city is known for.

Enjoy fine dining at places like The B’s Bistro or Café Beignet, shop at the local antique stores, and don’t forget to snap a photo in front of the Hotel Monteleone!

Café Beignets
