The next day should be spent celebrating, relaxing, exploring New Orleans and enjoying each others company. Here is a list of suggested ideas to consider from sun up to sun down.
Breakfast at CafE Du monde
Stroll on down to the French Quarter for beignets at Cafe du Monde for breakfast in true New Orleans fashion. Enjoy your morning relaxing and taking in the sites. After breakfast you can visit French Quarter Visitor Center for history exhibits, a gift shop & guided walking tours.
Lunch at the Commander's Palace
Ride the streetcar to Washington to visit the Commander's Palace. They have a tasty lunch special during the week and an awesome jazz brunch during the weekend. Request a reservation in the Garden Room over looking the courtyard, it is wonderful, If you didn't make a reservation don't forget to mention your preference for seating when you arrive. Take advantage of their 25 cent martinis while you are there!
After lunch head a few blocks west towards quaint shops and stores . The National WWII Museum is fairly close on Magazine Street. Plan your visit to the Museum today and check out special exhibitions.
Afternoon Happy Hour
Also, there's a great restaurant close by the museum with a killer happy hour from 3pm - 6pm with half price drinks and 75 cent sliders special. Head over to the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood and visit the clubs on Frenchmen Street.
Late afternoon Relaxation
Head back to your hotel and relax, swim in the pool, get a massage and get dressed for dinner and shenanigans this evening.
